We will practice natural numbers with our students using Kakuro puzzles. Kakuro puzzles are similar to crosswords, but instead of letters, the board is filled with numbers (from 1 to 9). You may not use the same digit more than once to get a specific total. Kakoro is a type of logic puzzle often called a mathematical transliteration of a crossword puzzle.

Here you can play Kakuro online puzzles with randomly generated boards (5x5, more or less, depending on the age of the students you are working with).
