Magic time

Today we finished our digital book about Christmas traditions in Croatia. My students enjoyed working in Book Creator.

We have recieved our Christmas card from Romania and now they are decorating our classroom.

Yesterday, my students created pages for a book about Polish holiday traditions.

On December 23rd, in the evening, the people of Siatista light bonfires, known as the Kladaries, in the city streets and squares and dance around them to the sound of local instruments (mainly brass).Everybody is welcomed to participate. Our school also participates in this custom every year.Τhe students prepare the school bonfire, ( Kladaria ), by gathering dry grass since October. On the evening of December 23, they light it with the accompaniment of traditional musical instruments ,dancing and many people to participate.
