Little Citizens of Europe – Building Friendships

This short and simple eTwinning project introduces both children and teachers to international collaboration with a strong focus on life skills, active citizenship, and critical thinking. Children will discover Europe (flags, countries, traditions) and learn how to cooperate, share, reflect, and show empathy through the exchange of traditions, songs, drawings, videos, wishes, and Christmas cards. These creative exchanges provide a meaningful framework for developing teamwork, responsibility, communication, and intercultural understanding, while teachers gain confidence in using TwinSpace, ICT tools, and international collaboration without feeling overwhelmed. Through creative exchanges and European collaboration, pupils develop key life skills such as communication, literacy, digital competence, critical thinking, citizenship, empathy, creativity, and cooperation, in line with the eTwinning Annual Theme 2025/26 – Skills for Life.
