Human Rights in the Light of Literature: Raising Global Awareness
Project Description:
This eTwinning project aims to raise students' awareness of human rights through the study of literary works about historical human rights struggles. The project will be a process of exploration to understand the relationship between literature and history. Students will read works about human rights violations in the past, develop social responsibility projects by adapting the social messages of these works to the present, and produce digital content that will increase their awareness of human rights. In addition, project participants will create a global collaborative environment to understand human rights issues across different cultures and societies.

Target Group:
Students aged 14-18 (High School level)
Project Aims:
1. To raise students' awareness of human rights through literary works depicting the historical struggle for human rights.
2. To develop students' analytical skills by examining in depth how literature addresses human rights themes.
3. To enable students to design social responsibility projects by linking historical events and literary works to contemporary human rights violations.
4. To produce common solutions to human rights problems from different perspectives and societies through cross-cultural cooperation.
5. To produce awareness-raising content through digital platforms, social media and other digital tools.
