Digital Citizenship Room

Story

In the Citizenship Room, students are discussing messages shared in a class group chat.

One student shares a beautiful drawing. Some classmates send positive messages like:

"Great job!"
"Your drawing is amazing!"

But one student writes a rude comment.

The class stops and starts thinking:

"How should we communicate with others on the internet?"

Students now need to decide what respectful online communication looks like.

Instructions

  1. Read the messages on the board.
  2. Discuss which messages are respectful and which are hurtful.
  3. Think about how your words can affect others.
  4. Choose the behaviors that represent good digital citizenship.
  5. Use these ideas to discover the secret keyword and unlock the door.

💡 Mission Goal:
Learn how to communicate respectfully and responsibly in digital environments.
