Participation in the 4th Educational Robotics & STEAM Festival 2026

As part of our eTwinning, Active Citizenship, Skills Workshops, and Eco-Schools programmes, our kindergarten enthusiastically participated in the 4th Educational Robotics & STEAM Festival 2026, where our team, "Nature Lovers," presented an original BeeBot mat entitled "Let's Grow Our Dream School." Inspired by the children's vision of a school closely connected with nature, the mat was designed and created entirely by the students using recycled materials and featured a vegetable garden, a forest, and colourful flowers, promoting environmental awareness and sustainability. Working collaboratively in pairs, the children developed communication, teamwork, and computational thinking skills by planning routes and programming the BeeBot to reach their "dream school" through a hands-on, play-based coding activity without the use of computers. During the festival, they proudly presented their project to students from other schools, parents, teachers, and education advisors, exchanging ideas and experiences while also exploring the creative work of other participants. This valuable experience fostered collaboration, inspired new ideas, strengthened the children's confidence, and highlighted the educational value of robotics and STEAM learning.

Our school proudly participated in the 2nd We4all Global School Championship of Best Practices, presenting the environmental and educational initiatives implemented throughout the school year. Through the dissemination of our best practices, we shared projects promoting sustainability, environmental awareness, active citizenship, volunteering, and collaborative learning, while showcasing the creativity and commitment of our students. This international initiative provided an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas with schools from around the world, inspire others through our actions, and demonstrate how meaningful learning experiences can empower children to become responsible citizens and contribute to a more sustainable future.
