I' d like to set up a project on " teaching English by broadening my pupils' perspective of our world". People live and behave differently even in areas close to ours. Experiencing a new culture is like stepping into a whole new world exposing us to different smells, colors, sights, sounds, and people. Dropping my pupils out of their comfort zone should give them the taste of exploration and knowledge of the other. It is one of the necessary character-building experiences that a future citizen of the world should have at least once in his lifetime. First, pupils will introduce themselves and then they will describe their "world" giving as wide a picture as possible of all aspects of their daily lives and local traditions.
