Fehmi Mutlu Secondary School Took Part in the eTwinning Day Exhibition with an Interactive Approach

On the occasion of May 9th – eTwinning Day, Fehmi Mutlu Secondary School proudly participated in the exhibition organized by the Kırklareli Provincial Directorate of National Education. The event aimed to showcase the creativity, collaboration, and innovation of students involved in eTwinning projects across the region. Our school represented the Kidtopia Project, a student-centered initiative that combines democratic values, digital citizenship, creativity, and active learning.

The exhibition stand of Fehmi Mutlu Secondary School stood out with colorful displays, student-designed materials, and eye-catching visuals. However, what truly captured the attention of visitors was the interactive activity table prepared by the students and teachers. This table was designed to actively engage the audience, encouraging them to think, reflect, and participate in the spirit of the Kidtopia Project.

Visitors were invited to answer thought-provoking questions such as:
🔹 “If you could build your dream country, what would it look like?”
🔹 “If you were a leader, what would be the first thing you’d change?”
🔹 “What is your message for world peace?”
🔹 “What does democracy mean to you?”

These simple yet powerful questions sparked meaningful conversations and allowed guests of all ages to connect with the values behind the project. The table not only drew great interest but also became a gathering point for dialogue, creativity, and exchange of ideas.

Through this exhibition, Fehmi Mutlu Secondary School not only presented the work done within the Kidtopia Project but also created an inspiring and engaging atmosphere, making the eTwinning Day more inclusive and memorable. The experience strengthened the students’ sense of ownership, gave them an opportunity to share their voices, and highlighted the power of collaboration in shaping a more thoughtful and peaceful future.

In honor of eTwinning Day 2025, students designed their own posters to celebrate this special occasion. While some students chose to use their manual skills and traditional methods, others showcased their digital technology skills through creative digital designs.

Among the posters, the best one will be selected and awarded as part of the special celebration for eTwinning’s 20th year. This activity aims to support students’ creativity while strengthening the spirit of eTwinning.

Celebrating eTwinning Day - May 9th
On May 9th, we proudly celebrated Twinning Day, a special occasion that brings together students, teachers, and schools across Europe and beyond to honor collaboration, creativity, and unity in education.
To mark this meaningful day, our students designed a unique and colorful poster that reflected the spirit of eTwinning.
Before starting the design process, we held a class discussion to help students understand what eTwinning is, why it matters, and how it connects young minds from different countries through shared projects and goals.
Students explored keywords such as teamwork, respect, communication, diversity, peace, and European identity.
They brainstormed visual symbols and messages that could represent these values. Together, they created a vibrant poster featuring flags, smiling faces, hands joined together, and messages like
"Together for a Better Future", "United in Diversity", and "We Learn, Share, and Grow". Their design was filled with creativity, color, and positive energy.
During the celebration, we talked about the importance of international cooperation in education. We watched short videos about successful eTwinning projects and looked at how students from different countries work together on topics like science, art, languages, and environmental protection.
This inspired our class and helped them feel like part of a bigger global learning community.
To complete the day, we proudly displayed the poster in our school hallway, where other students and teachers could see it.
We also took group photos with the poster and shared them through our school's digital platforms, sending our message of unity and hope to a wider audience.
Celebrating Twinning Day helped our students feel empowered, inspired, and connected. It reminded us all that learning goes beyond borders-and when we work together, we can make a difference in the world.

Our Kidtopia Bulletin Board – A Colorful Reflection of Student Creativity! 🎨📌

As part of our Kidtopia project, our talented and hardworking students created a vibrant and meaningful bulletin board display, using their own hand-crafted work to showcase the values, ideas, and dreams behind the project. ✂️🖍️🖼️

Every piece on the board represents their dedication, creativity, and understanding of topics such as peace, citizenship, collaboration, digital responsibility, and equality. This visual collage is not only a celebration of what they’ve learned but also a powerful reminder of what young minds can achieve when given a voice. 🌍💬✨

Preparing this board was a team effort, and it turned into a fun and inspiring way to share the spirit of Kidtopia with the rest of the school community. From heartfelt slogans to colorful posters, every detail speaks of passion and purpose.

We are incredibly proud of their enthusiasm and the meaningful messages they chose to express. Don’t miss a closer look at their beautiful work!
