Mobility in Latvia – Report

The mobility titled “Climate Diaries” took place from 20th to 25th April 2026 at Rīgas 31. vidusskola in Latvia, as part of the project “How Is the Weather Tomorrow?”. The meeting gathered students and teachers from partner schools in Türkiye, Poland, and Hungary. The main focus of the mobility was on climate change and its impact on various aspects of life, presented through student-led presentations delivered in English.

During the mobility, each country prepared and presented topics related to environmental issues. The presentations covered important areas such as the impact of global warming on climate, the influence of climate change on the food sector, the damage caused by waste to nature, and the European Union Green Deal.

A particularly important part of the event was the presentation delivered by the Polish students on the topic “Does climate change affect the food sector?”. The students demonstrated a very good level of preparation, presenting clear and well-structured content. They showed a strong understanding of the topic, using relevant examples and explaining complex issues in an accessible way. Their use of English was communicative and confident, which contributed to the overall effectiveness of the presentation.

The attitude of the students during the mobility was highly commendable. They were actively engaged in all activities, showed openness to cooperation, and worked well in international groups. Their positive attitude, willingness to participate, and respect towards others created a friendly and productive atmosphere throughout the mobility. They were also curious, asked questions, and showed genuine interest in the topics discussed by other participants.

Overall, the mobility in Latvia was a valuable educational experience. It not only allowed students to deepen their knowledge about climate change but also helped them develop language skills, teamwork, and intercultural understanding. The Polish students represented their school very well through both their presentation and their positive, responsible attitude.
