How To Make STEAM Literacy a Reality For All Students

By the implementation of STEAM based programs into our education, the young require more than the ability to memorize facts and procedures. The main aim is to prepare the kids to think deeply and encourage them to challenge accepted knowledge so that they have the chance to become educators, innovators, researchers and leaders who can solve the most pressing challenges facing Europe and world, both today and tomorrow. It is also inevitable that STEAM education will directly lead the students into business and enterprise world which has a crucial role within the strategies of subjectivation, since its mandate is to provide individuals with the necessary skill‐sets for the occupations of the future. With STEAM method, the hands-on nature of learning journey and experiencing the mechanics, strategy, teamwork and competition lying beneath the surface are the things that really drive kids’ lifelong interest. They must also be able to apply their creativity, knowledge and skill within and across disciplines and in real life situations. We can teachthe 21st century skills which is the way providing learners with exciting opportunities and deep learning experiences, that make them be resourceful and confident in engaging with STEAM concepts in school and their future lives as theworkforce of the EU.
