Hands Touching Nature

Touching Nature with Little Hands is an environmental awareness project designed for primary school students aged 6–10. The project aims to help children develop a love for nature, understand the importance of protecting the environment, and adopt sustainable habits such as recycling, saving resources, and caring for plants. Throughout the project, students will collaborate with peers from partner schools to carry out hands-on activities such as sprouting beans, making seed balls, planting saplings, creating artwork from natural materials, and designing eco-themed posters. Digital tools like Padlet, BookCreator, Genially, Canva, Vocaroo, and Artsteps will be used to document and share learning outcomes and to strengthen digital literacy. The project also encourages family involvement through home-based activities (plant care, recycling boxes, and seed ball projects). Intercultural exchange is supported through joint online meetings, shared exhibitions, collaborative videos, and a common digital book. By the end of the project, students will have increased their environmental awareness, improved digital skills, and developed a stronger sense of responsibility toward the natural world.
