Hands On CLIL

With CLIL – Content and Language Integrated Learning – we name the teaching of any non-language-subject through the medium of a language which is not the mother tongue. It differs from traditional teaching a subject in a foreign language in such a way that with CLIL you focus knowledge of an unknown content using thinking skills to understand, analyze, synthesize, evaluate and communicate about. All project activities will lead to our common aim - to develop CLIL methodology and implement it into schools´ curricula according to students' individual needs. The project is addressed to teachers who will enhance their teaching techniques in the field of innovative methodology as well as ICT skills. That will have positive impact on pupils who will improve foreign language skills while learning different topic content, learn how to use foreign language in meaningful and real life situations, expecting that by using modern technologies they will be more motivated for learning.
