Green Future Through STEAM: Creating a Sustainable World Together (GreenSTEAM)

Green STEAM aims to develop students’ essential life competences through environment-focused STEAM activities, in alignment with the 2025 eTwinning annual theme “Skills for Life.” The GreenSTEAM project is an international eTwinning initiative designed to foster sustainability awareness and environmental responsibility among students aged 11–15. By integrating STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) with real-life environmental challenges, the project encourages students to develop creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills while actively engaging in collaborative learning. During the project, students will participate in activities such as recycling and reuse, design eco-friendly solutions using artificial intelligence tools, and produce various digital outcomes including e-books, posters, videos, and presentations. These activities will not only enhance their digital and AI literacy but also strengthen collaboration, communication, and intercultural understanding among European peers. Aligned with the 2025–2026 eTwinning annual theme “Skills for Life,” the project aims to equip students with both environmental awareness and essential life competencies needed in the digital age. Through cooperation, creativity, and innovative use of technology, participants will gain valuable experiences that contribute to their personal growth and to a more sustainable future.
