Three classes are involved: 12 students (10/11 years old) from Greece and their English teacher Georgia, 20 students (9/10 years old) from Italy and their teacher Silvia, and 32 students (15/16 years old) from France and their teacher Anne. The partner classes will work in 8 teams of 8 pupils from the 3 countries. They will collaborate throughout the project to create the roster for each team, choose a name and a mascote, create a flag to represent their team, which will be included on the project logo. Students will be involved in researching information related to the Olympic Games such as: the history of ancient and modern Olympic Games, the values conveyed, the disciplines represented, famous athletes from all over the world, information about the city of Paris, which is hosting the 2024 Games, about the Paralympic Games. The older students will pass on the information to their younger partners, making it accessible by producing slideshows and online games, for instance. It will be possible and fun to test the knowledge students have acquired during online meetings and the 3 GOT (Great Olympic Tournaments) organised all through the year (November-May).
