Exchange of Christmas Surprise Boxes

As part of our Christmas activities, the students participated in a Christmas Surprise Box Exchange. with our partner schools. Following a group discussion, the children collaboratively decided on the contents of the box, with the aim of creating a meaningful and culturally significant gift.

The box was decorated with Christmas-themed images and lined with golden paper. It contained a wooden decorative charm, symbolizing fertility since ancient times, as well as a package of dried figs, a traditional delicacy from antiquity with strong symbolic value. Informative note was prepared to explain the significance of each item.

In addition, a Christmas card was created and signed by all students before being placed inside the box. The box was then wrapped in cellophane, decorated with a Christmas ribbon, and placed inside a larger parcel for shipment. The address of our partner school in Poland was written on the package, which was subsequently sent via the post office.

Upon receiving the parcel, our partners shared photographs with us, allowing students to experience the joy of cultural exchange and mutual appreciation.

A few days later, our school received a parcel from our partners in France. It included Christmas cards for all students, butter cookies, candies, small decorative gifts, and recipes for a Christmas log cake and gingerbread. The latter was accompanied by a special spice mix to ensure authentic flavor. The activity concluded with great enthusiasm, and the students are looking forward to preparing and tasting the recipes.

The Italian children received a special Christmas package coming from Poland, discovering traditional products, new flavors, and traditions from another European country.

The students in Spain receive the package from Italy and cook some spaghetti with which they make a fun drawing with real hair.
