Dissemination at Escola Joan Maragall

Description

Throughout the project Flying Free: Birds Know No Borders, students from Escola Joan Maragall shared their work, achievements and final products with the school community and beyond.

Dissemination activities helped give visibility to the project, celebrate students’ learning and promote the values of international collaboration, language learning, environmental awareness and respect for birds and nature.

eTwinning Corner

The school also used its eTwinning Corner to give visibility to the project and to eTwinning in general.

This space was used to display project information, pupils’ productions, photos, materials and evidence from the different activities. It helped make the project visible within the school and allowed other students, teachers and families to follow the progress of the international collaboration.

The eTwinning Corner also contributed to raising awareness of European projects and encouraged the school community to value international cooperation as part of everyday learning.

School Website and Social Media

The project was regularly shared through the school’s website and social media channels, helping families and the wider community follow the students’ learning journey.

News articles, photos, videos and final products were published to showcase the different stages of the project and the collaboration with our partner schools from other countries.

These publications helped give visibility to the activities completed in the classroom and showed how pupils worked on English, science, creativity, digital competence and environmental responsibility through the project.

International Projects Afternoon

As a final dissemination event, students presented the project during the International Projects Afternoon.

Families, teachers and other students were invited to discover the activities completed throughout the year. Pupils explained the project, presented some of the final products and participated in interactive activities related to birds, migration and international collaboration.

This event provided an authentic audience for students and allowed them to celebrate their achievements while sharing their learning with the school community.

School Community

Project activities and final products were shared with students, teachers and families through classroom displays, presentations, exhibitions and collaborative events.

Students’ work related to birds, migration, environmental care, poetry, birdwatching and the final board game was displayed in different school spaces so that other pupils and teachers could discover the project and learn from it.

The final products, such as the collaborative bird-related activities, the poetry eBook, the environmental charter and the Wings Across Borders game, helped show the learning process carried out during the year.

Impact

Through these dissemination activities, students developed confidence, communication skills and a sense of pride in their work.

The project also helped raise awareness of eTwinning and international collaboration within the school community, encouraging other students and teachers to discover similar learning opportunities.
