eTwinning Code of Conduct

A. Basic Principles

Be inclusive

Be respectful

Be tolerant.

Be polite and friendly in all forms of communication, especially remote communication where the possibility of misunderstanding is greater. 

B. Some of the rules that all eTwinners must follow

1. eTwinning cannot be used for commercial purposes. 

2. There can be no direct threats, bullying or harassment. 

3. Intellectual property. 

4. Identity theft 

5. Students (minors). 

6. Private information and Sensitive data. 

C. “Internet Ethics”

1. Use the internal messaging system carefully and responsibly. 

2. Avoid spamming forums.

3. Only post comments that are relevant and appropriate to other users' posts.

 

4. Avoid sending random contact requests and project invitations.

5. Make invitations to the rooms according to the target audience.

D. Violation of the Code of Conduct

What can you do if you think an eTwinner is not following the Code of Conduct?


In the Support Community, we do our best to protect people from abuse and spam in eTwinning, but as an active and pluralistic community, we rely on you to help us maintain a positive attitude and reduce spam. Because; We encourage eTwinners to report such situations when necessary.

 

If a User does not respect the Rules of Conduct; what happens?


Failure to comply with the rules set forth in this Code of Conduct constitutes a breach of its terms and may result in temporary or permanent removal of any posting or material uploaded by eTwinners at any time without notice. In such cases, the owners of the relevant materials and Support Services will be informed and the reasons for their removal will be explained. Users who do not comply with the Code of Conduct may be temporarily or permanently banned from eTwinning.
