European Dishes is an international eTwinning project that brings together students from different cities and countries through cooking. Each participating school presents its country by selecting typical dishes from its tradition. The students search for recipes and cook them, preparing video recipes for a digital book. In a second phase, the students will focus on recreating typical dishes from countries bordering their own and write them in the digital book. The project aims to increase students' social and cultural awareness, while helping them to remember and appreciate the culinary values of their own country. At the same time, it focuses on improving students' language skills through listening, reading, pronunciation, conversation, and writing activities. By combining cooking, culture, and language learning, students give voice to the cultural identity of their cities in English.
