This project is focused on the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the development of literacy, using myths and legends as the core curricular content. Partnering mother-tongue English students and teachers with those for whom English is not a first language will require co-operation and collaboration and develop skills in language learning and multilingualism. Similarly the use of ICT as the medium of instruction, means of communication/collaboration and in the creation of resources will help develop basic and transversal digital skills. This integration of mythology and ICT will be used to develop oral language skills, reading and comprehension skills, as well as skills in the area of writing. There will be opportunities for differentiation according to ability and language level within the various partner schools.
