
The main goal of the project is to improve our students‘ English language skills. Students are 16-19. The students and teachers set the plan, the topic, duration, etc. first and will cooperate to complete the aim by using different online tools. Teachers will have only advisory and control function in the activities. The main topic is Environmental Heroes. Students from each country will choose different national or international organisations that are active in this field. They will create their profiles and will introduce activities these organisations and individuals provide and are active in the field of nature protection and sustainability.The aim of the project is to bring awareness and inspiration to the others. The information inspire young and their families to change attitude towards our planet and towards future life. We will suggest activities to improve sustainability. This project involves following school subjects as English, social science, biology, IT. Aims: Firstly, students will develop a deep understanding of environmental issues and the work of environmental heroes. They will gain in-depth knowledge of local and global environmental challenges. The will understand the impact of human activities on the environment as well as identify key environmental heroes and their contributions. Secondly, they will enhance research skills and the ability to access, evaluate, and use information effectively. They will conduct research on environmental topics, heroes, and their impact and assess the reliability and credibility of sources.They will compile and organize information from various sources. Thirdly, Students will improve communication skills and the ability to advocate for environmental causes. They will effectively communicate environmental issues through various media (e.g., presentations, articles, social media).They will advocate for environmental heroes and their initiatives. They will improve English language skills. Work process The work process is set according to the project plan. The partners will create cross-school teams of students to encourage collaboration, assign roles and responsibilities to students within each team (e.g., researchers, presenters, project coordinators). Followingly, we will share research findings and resources between partner schools. Teachers and students will collaborate virtually to discuss progress and challenges. Each cross-school team will develop presentations, essays, or other forms of communication to showcase their chosen environmental hero according to chosen forms of information exchange. Regular virtual meetings will be held among partner schools (monthly) to ensure consistent communication. Ongoing collaboration will be shared through documents, emails, and project management tools. Teachers from partner schools will share the responsibility of coordinating curriculum integration, guiding students, and facilitating virtual meetings. Students will be responsible for conducting research, creating presentations, and actively participating in cross-school teams. Both partner schools should collaborate in providing resources, feedback, and support to ensure the project's success. Suggested activities and schedule: - participants' introduction – (October) - school introduction and GDPR forms (October -November) - creating profiles of individuals and organisations that are involved in environmental issues around the world and in our countries (November - December- January) - discuss it through online meeting (January) - create a manual how to find the way and get involved in nature protection events (February) -write a letter in English to chosen organisations and probably support them (March)
