Zeynep CEYLAN- Sarıbuğday Middle School- Student pretest analysis, Question 4
An overwhelming majority of participants (90.1%) correctly identified the primary use of the number Pi. This percentage demonstrates that students clearly understand the relationship between Pi and measurements of circles and circles (circumference, area, etc.). Only 9.9% (approximately 12 students) were misled by distractors. This low percentage indicates that the question was understandable and that students were not unfamiliar with the topic.
