Students learn the concept of wind in science and geography. They conduct research on wind conditions in the areas surrounding their schools in order to analyze the possibilities of creating a wind farm.  They gather information about air pollution that depends on seasonal winds. Then, they discuss the positive and negative aspects of installing wind farms.

Students use a variety of applications such as : Learning Apps-quizzes,

Weather Station App, Penultimate, Canva to create mental maps, Windy.app

Windy.app. They create quizzes on Learning Apps. They use an anemometer with digital transmission of results measurements, computers, smartphones, iPads, GoogleMeet, Messenger, Zoom Cloud Meeting. To collect data: IoT Explorer or other. They use LEGO® Education Renewable Energy/ STEM Horizon Educational: Horizon Energy Box.

Wind Energy street poll 7th April 2024, Vienna

Our train trip to Judenburg consisted of 2 stages: April 6, 2024 - Warsaw - Vienna and April 7, 2024 - Vienna - Judenburg. 
Our students conducted a street poll at Vienna Hauptbahnhof Railway Station  to understand public opinions on renewable energy sources, particularly wind  energy. The survey was carried out in pairs, with each pair interviewing 10  individuals aged between 19 and 60. The aim was to gather insights on the awareness, opinions, and support for  wind energy among the general public.
