Alkaline diet

Created by Panagiota Georgopoulou
Last updated by Gordana Pešić 1 year 7 months ago

The alkaline diet is based on the fact that the modern diet is dominated by a higher content of food of animal origin compared to the intake of fruits and vegetables. This way of eating leads to the burden of the body with acidic components. In order to prevent the accumulation of acid in the body, advocates of the alkaline diet believe that with the help of food we can maintain an alkaline pH value in the body, which is very important for health.

Is that right?

Dear students,

Together we will implement the Alkaline diet topic, during our online meeting on April 27. On the following links you can find basic information about Alkaline diets and prepare for the topic of our online meeting.

The questions we will try to answer during the online meeting are:

  • On what principles is the alkaline diet based?
  • Good sides of this diet
  • Bad sides of this diet
  • Which foods are allowed and which are not in this diet?
  • Your opinion about this diet
  • Would you use or recommend the alkaline diet to others? Explain.

Here is the presentation that will be used.

This meeting consists of:

-a menti
