Dare to be fair!

This project idea has been inspired by both the upcoming European football championship as well as the Olympic Games in Paris in the summer of 2024. A lot of our students are keen on sports, be it as a fan or an active sports person. But everyone knows: All is not well in the world of sports: hooliganism, bribery, foul play, doping, abuse - you name it.We are going to explore our personal, national and international worlds of sports, the official rules for “fair play” and their actual implementation in events on all levels going back to the ancient Olympic Games. To get a broader insight into the matter, there will be interviews with (semi-)professional sports people.True to the 2024 eTwinning motto of "Well-being at Schools", our results will be taken “home” to our schools: What rules should be followed for everybody to be well? How can we motivate our school communities to dare to be fair?

Dear students,

thank you for participating in this project, for your open-mindedness and your willingness to learn something new about your fellow European students, to improve your ICT and English skills and to work with each other.

We hope the project was fun (at least most of the time ;-)) and that you experienced that the world of sport is definitely one that connects students, probably not only in Europe.

Keep your spirits up, enjoy your sport, and maybe stay in contact with one or the other!

All the best
