Creative European Pen Pal Exchange

This project brings together students from at least five to six European countries in a year-long correspondence program. Starting in October and running until June, the exchange allows students to actively connect through a variety of written, digital, and creative tasks. - Variety of tasks and formats: handwritten letters, creative portraits, collaborative Padlets, Canva posters, videos, and digital games. - Balanced progression: from self-expression (“Who am I?”) to intercultural exploration (school life, cities, traditions, recipes) and shared values (civic engagement, poetry). - Linguistic development: students practice authentic written and oral communication, expand their vocabulary, and experiment with creative writing. - Intercultural dimension: students discover peers’ environments, traditions, and ways of thinking, while reflecting on similarities and differences. - Collaborative and digital skills: the use of online tools (Padlet, Canva, shared presentations) encourages teamwork, digital literacy, and responsible online interaction. - Action-oriented outcomes: each month’s activity produces a tangible result (a poster, an interview, a poem, a recipe, a memory book…), fostering motivation and pride.
