Co-Shaping Peace

This an interdisciplinary, trilingual project on the Culture of Peace and Non-Violence aiming at fostering wellbeing at school and beyond. From Middle January until the beginning of June, students aged 13 to 16 will reflect together upon the pillars of "peacebuilding" as approached on such basic international frameworks as the Agenda 2030 or the UN's New Agenda for Peace 2023. In collaborative mixed teams following the learning-by-doing principle, we will face the challenge of becoming kind of local peacebuilders by creatively answering sustainability-related out-of-the-box questions such as: Can shooting a picture be an act of peace? Can talking to the Earth be an act of peace? Can dancing be an act of peace? Can facing the Other be an act of peace? Can singing be an act of peace? Can "handycrafting" be an act of peace? Can ...? By the end of the project each international team will be able to critically agree on a specific Peace Agenda for a real upcoming event in the Project’s Founder’s city, namely: the Build Peace Conference 2025, which will be held next Autumn in Santa Coloma de Gramenet.
