In an overwhelming world saturated with information, there are still some people who claim that climate change does not exist. However, even among those who agree with this inconvenient truth there are people who are not sure that it is possible to do something about this situation. As the effects of climate change and ecological collapse intensify around us, school children have become prominent among voices calling for change. In this project we aim to organize an open discussion about the main aspects of climate change. 14-16 years old students living in Lithuania and Belgium are going to collaborate and share their thoughts about nine planetary thresholds (based on Jon Clay’s documentary of Breaking Boundaries: The Science of Our Planet’ (2021)), the importance of public spirit and taking responsible actions. The project involves multidisciplinary collaboration of three main disciplines: natural and human sciences, languages and ethics.
