ACTIVITY 1
STORY COMPLETION
Little Red Riding Hood
Little Red Riding Hood is sent by her mother to take food to her grandmother. “Your
grandmother is sick, take good care of her and be careful,” her mother says. The girl puts on
her red hood and sets off, heading deep into the forest. Suddenly, she encounters a big wolf on
the way. The wolf asks, “Hello little girl, where are you going?”
Little Red Riding Hood replies, “I’m going to my grandmother’s. She is sick.”
The wolf approaches her with a sweet smile and asks, “You said where you’re going, but
where does your grandmother live?”
Little Red Riding Hood answers, “In the small house at the end of the forest.”
Making a plan, the wolf says, “The flowers are very beautiful here. Maybe you could pick
some flowers for your grandmother,” trying to distract the girl.
Looking at the flowers, Little Red Riding Hood says, “Yes, there are very beautiful flowers!”
and begins to pick them. Meanwhile, the wolf quickly heads toward the grandmother’s house.
When the wolf arrives, he knocks on the door and says, “Grandmother, I’m here.” Since the
grandmother does not recognize the wolf, she opens the door, and the wolf catches and
swallows her. Then he puts on the grandmother’s clothes, lies in the bed, and waits for Little
Red Riding Hood.
