                             Project Description

The challenges schools of today are faced with as regards sustainability are summarized in the following questions: 1. How can sustainability be transferred in the school environment? 2. What is the ideal school environment? 3. Can students become agents of change in their own environment? The main concept of the project “Building the new Normal” is based on the principles of the New European Bauhaus initiative which uses sustainability as a broader term that includes environmental sustainability, cultural and aesthetic enrichment, and inclusion through the development of dialogue. Thus, the project via online collaborative partner work aims at initiating students to the principles of sustainability, raising their awareness and motivating them to a more active role in their school environment that will inspire them to become responsible and active global citizens in their adult life.
