“Bee friend” is a project in which students are going to learn about bees and biodiversity. Through various activities students will become “scientists”, they will learn about the lives of honey bees, collect information about different species of bees and will learn about other pollinating insects populations. They will plant melliferous plants and create a small garden friendly to wild pollinating insects. They also will paint common mosaics and bake cookies with honey. They will become volunteers and create a social campaign to protect the bees. The summary of the project will be a visit of Polish students to a school in Rome, during which the students will together prepare the ecological soaps made with honey and compositions of grown and dried herbs and flowers that grew from seeds the project participants exchanged at the very beginning.
