TASK DESCRIPTION

"The Tale of the Lost Key" is an activity that focuses on developing students' creativity and imagination through writing and storytelling. The participants of the project receive a fragment of a fairy tale about a hedgehog named Kacper, who finds a mysterious key. Their task is to come up with a continuation of this story, decide what the key can be used for and how Kacper's adventure will end.

1. Activity: The students read an excerpt from the fairy tale about Kacper and the mysterious key. The key is small, silver, and covered in strange symbols.
2. Students' assignment: The participants of the project are tasked with coming up with a continuation of the fairy tale. They have to decide what the key is for, what adventures await Kacper and how the whole story will end.
3. Boosting Creativity: This activity encourages students to use their imagination and creativity. They can experiment with different scenarios, add new characters, places, and events.
4. Different endings: The essence of the task is that the story can have different endings, depending on the student's choice. This fosters diversity in the approach to creative writing.
5. Summary: The students present their endings to the fairy tale, and the project partners can admire the diversity of ideas and imaginations of each participant.
6. Activity in pairs: Students choose cooperation partners from another country. Version I: The students write the final text, the partner school makes the illustrations. Version II: The students write a fragment of the end of the story, the partners finish the story they started. The illustrations are made to the part written by the project partner.

Not only does this activity develop writing skills, but it also captures students' imaginations by giving them the space to create and share their own ideas.
