In 2021 2,935 schools were awarded the eTwinning School Label after a two-part application process. These awarded schools are pioneers and are recognised as leaders in areas such as:

• Digital practice
• eSafety practice
• Innovative and creative approaches to pedagogy
• Promoting continuous professional development of staff
• Promoting collaborative learning practices with staff and students

This is not only recognition of personal success of individual teachers but also an acknowledgment of the great achievement of the entire eTwinning team these school.

The eTwinning School Label was introduced in 2017 to recognise and reward the involvement, commitment, and dedication of not only individual eTwinning teachers, but also teams of teachers and school leaders within the same school.
