Who are we?

Liceo Statale Rinaldo Corso in Correggio (RE, Italy) is a 5-year public high school enrolling around 800 students in grades 9 through 13. The school offers academic preparation for University in three different curricula: Classical Studies, Scientific Studies (both with Latin and Applied Sciences with Informatics), and Modern Language Studies.

Being a public school, the admission is free and at the end of the 5-year courses students take a written and oral examination – State Exam/Leaving Cert – which is decided by the Italian Ministry of Education and is composed of two written papers (Italian, either Greek/Latin or Maths or Foreign Language according to the curriculum) and an oral interdisciplinary exam on all the subjects of grade 13.

Extra-curricular Activities include Local and National Competitions: Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Latin and Greek; School Choir and Drama Club; Erasmus+ VET mobility; Debate competitions as Romanae Disputationes; Cultural Excursions, students and school exchanges, Language Assessment Certificates (Goethe, DELE, DELF, Cambridge Assessment), Memorial Trips.
