IIS Newton-Pertini is an Erasmus+ accredited public high school in north-east Italy near Venice, with 2,200 students aged 14-19 years. It offers a complete range of secondary courses at 3 different academic levels: lyceum, technical-commercial and technical-industrial, as well as a ‘Fashion-Made in Italy’ course
All students study English for their whole course of studies, while 34/95 classes study at least two curricular European languages and 12 classes study three. The languages taught are French, German (with Deutsches SprachDiplom, DSD), English and Spanish. The school has a long tradition of projects of internationalisation, including Comenius, Erasmus+, U.N. simulations, cultural exchanges, long-term mobility. Our traditional partner schools are in Portugal, Spain, the Netherlands, Germany and Romania, and we are most interested in extending our partnerships.
