H.LUTFI PAMUKCU MIDDLE SCHOOL is located in the province of Nevşehir in the Cappadocia region, which has a
unique geology and attracts millions of tourists every year.Since 1986, it has achieved success in academia, sports and
arts.Our mission is to educate and prepare our students for the future as entrepreneurial, tolerant, interested in science and
art,
open to innovations, and with the skills to respond to the needs of the age. Our school creates a positive and safe school
environment for all students from different cultures and beliefs. Our school consists of 28 classrooms, special education
class, music, art, technology design, library, science laboratory,
conference hall and canteen. There are also 2 IT laboratories, 2 teachers' rooms, 4 administrative rooms, 3 guidance
service and 3 kindergartens. It has a large garden for sports activities and ceremonies. There are interactive boards in the
classrooms. There are 65 teachers, 4 administrators, 12 staff and 1050 students.Our school is a middle school with students aged between 10 and 15 years old. We have 1,050 students. Approximately
330 of them are facing disadvantages, with 8 in special education classes and 19 receiving full-time mainstream education.
Among these students, 95 are Syrian, 1 is Iranian, 26 are Iraqi, 101 are Afghan, and 4 are Palestinian refugees, migrants, or
asylum seekers. Two hundred students are dealing with economic difficulties, 30 have separated parents, and 40 are
absent from school for various reasons. Our school exhibits different socio-economic levels. Additionally, we have refugee
and migrant students from various countries, contributing to cultural diversity. Students with fewer opportunities often
encounter problems with school attendance. This project aims to reduce absenteeism, prevent peer bullying, and transform
these differences into cultural richness.
