About
Who are we?
Arlena Collective is a newly founded professional development organization (Denmark, 2026) created by two practitioners: a psychologist and educator with an MSc in Psychology, and a Learning and Guidance Specialist with an MA in Education and BSc in Psychology. Together, we identified a consistent gap across European classrooms: educators are expected to manage increasingly dysregulated students without ever having been trained in their own regulation.
Our flagship programme, The CARE Method, is a professional competence framework grounded in peer-reviewed research from developmental psychology, social-emotional learning, and trauma-informed pedagogy. It trains educators to utilize their own regulated nervous system as a pedagogical tool, as co-regulation is a developmental prerequisite for student self-regulation (Rosanbalm & Murray, 2017), and educator social-emotional competence is the strongest predictor of SEL program effectiveness (Shi & Cheung, 2024).
We also offer a programme on trivsel (wellbeing and thriving) and are actively developing further courses for European educators. Our programmes are designed for real school days: practical, neurobiologically grounded, and deliverable without additional curriculum time.
We are at the beginning of our European journey and are actively seeking Erasmus+ KA1 partnerships to bring this work to educators across Europe.
