I am Anna Persidou and I teach English in the 3rd Junior High school of Katerini. At the moment, I am a school counselor, that is, I deal with bullying incidents among students, ways of prevention and strategies for managing school violence. I have been organising projects throughout my 30-year career at public schools. During the last fifteen years I have been working with my students on the issues of bullying, racism. xenophobia, diversity, human rights and children's rights as well as the issue of the refugees. I have participated in an Erasmus+ project, titled ' discover and share your identity mark' which lasted 3 years.( 2018-21).I am interested in participating in projects around the world, especially Europe, as to my mind, the Globe is a common home for all people. Besides, I wish to promote my school's ideas and offer an oportunity to my students to get to know other cultures and become a part of a broad society accepting diversity. At the moment, we are working on the issues of democracy, sustainability and digital citinenship aiming at a greener, more democratic and more sustainable school which is our vision and goal for the next five years. Ι strongly believe that culture in all the above is the only vehicle to carry our students to the future.
