Let's protect ourselves from cyberharassment
This eTwinning project on the prevention of cyberbullying could be a collaboration between schools in different European countries. The main aim would be to educate pupils about the dangers of cyberbullying and to raise awareness of how to protect themselves online. The project could include activities such as awareness-raising workshops, online discussions, presentations on social networks and appropriate online behaviour, creating posters to be displayed in schools and online, and learning about the texts and laws that prohibit and penalise cyberbullying. Pupils could also work together to create educational resources, such as posters, videos or brochures, to share their knowledge with their peers. This project would encourage intercultural communication and the sharing of experiences between participating schools. It would aim to boost pupils' self-confidence, develop their critical faculties with regard to content disseminated.
